Hello there, I see you have stumbled upon my about section! 
 

 

My name is Jonathan, but you can call me Jon! I am the director of JC Animations; a freelance company contributing towards the animation industry.

 

In 2021, I graduated from UWE (University of West of England) with a Bachelor Honours Degree in Animation and was awarded a Toon Boom Harmony licence for demonstrating good use of collaboration and realisation.

At the age of 21, I founded JC Animations and relocated to Helsinki/Finland for six months to work as a rig artist for Gigglebug Entertainment. In 2022 I started working remotely as a freelancer from home in the United Kingdom.

 

I also collaborated with Adam`s Animation Academy, producing a six episode Prop Rigging Series on their YouTube channel, and have contributed towards Warner Bros Animations and Nickelodeon productions.

Experience:

  • Working remotely and in-house for international studios

  • Rigging props and characters for televised children's series

  • 4 years working in the animation industry and using Toon Boom Harmony

  • Working under the supervision of a lead rigger and collaborating with others
